Teacher Assistant in Early Education

Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive supervision and encouragement
- Help facilitate classroom activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by supervising children during play, meals, rest periods, and transitions
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and daily activities
- Support behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to supervise children effectively
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with daycare center operations, toddler care, infant care, and behavior management techniques
