We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher’s Assistant to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive supervision and encouragement
  • Help facilitate classroom activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by supervising children during play, meals, rest periods, and transitions
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and daily activities
  • Support behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children
  • Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being at all times

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
  • Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to supervise children effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Familiarity with daycare center operations, toddler care, infant care, and behavior management techniques
